It’s hard to believe we are beginning the club’s 3rd year! After what was a great year 1, I think we can all agree 2020 sucked. We are looking to rebound though; we have a full slate of events planned for 2021! In addition to events being back on the calendar we have some other exciting stuff in store for this year so keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page and here on our website.
Make sure you renew your memberships! If you are not sure of your status feel free to reach out via the Facebook page or through the Contact Us page here on the website.
This year our goal is to provide better communication and update on events and the club in general. Our plan is to consistently post content to our website and will include club news and overviews. We will also be doing a “meet your club officers’ series” over the next few months, which will be interview style Q/A’s with the officers. Also, we want to try to profile one or two club members each month as we think our members would find it interesting to get to know a little more about each other. If you have questions you would like to see included in the interviews or members you would like to see profiled, please let us know! Also look to see cool and interesting hobby related content posted.
Breeder Award Program
We will also be launching a Breeder Award Program (aka BAP) this year. Our club Secretary John Baines is leading the charge on this with the help of a couple of key members. Extremely excited to get this piece in place! Expect to see more on this in the next few weeks.
Here is an overview of events slated for this year
- Jan 31st – Members meeting with our very own Scott Butler aka Chief’s Angels as a featured guest speaker – this will be a virtual meeting via Zoom
- Mar 28th – Members meeting (details announced in coming weeks)
- Apr 18th – Spring Swap!
- Jul 25th – Member meeting (details announced in coming weeks)
- Sep 19 – Fall Swap!
- Nov 21 – Member meeting (details announced in coming weeks)
2021 is shaping up to be an awesome year! We look forward to meeting more hobbyists, hosting awesome events, and celebrating your breeding successes. As always, we appreciate your feedback so feel free to comment or reach out.
See you soon!
